Purpose: This position is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and oversight of the District's special education programs and services. This position ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, promotes inclusive educational practices, and provides leadership to special education staff. The Assistant Director works closely with teachers, administrators, and families to enhance student success and equitable access to special education services.

 

Reports To: Assistant Superintendent of Special Services

 

FLSA Status: Exempt

Salary: $75,000-$85,000 per year, commensurate with experience
